The graphics are computer generated graphics, but personally, I prefer CG over the hand-drawn graphics, because I like the clean, crisp, sharp definition lines they offers, and the characters look the way they do because of the CG graphics. This old school style isn't for everyone, but the storyline should hold your attention, especially if you like government conspiracy theory plots, it reminds me of the Fringe series. I am disappointed, however in this games lack of collectibles that were available in the other two games. The first game had 14 Radioactive items to find, and 7 pages of Dr. Goodwins awards. The second game had 10 Oracle's Emblems and 9 missing Diary pages to find. I didn't find any collectibles in this game, but I could be wrong. I will use a PCC for this game, because I enjoyed the unusual conspiracy plots of the first two games. I was very disappointed that I was only able to tolerate for 35 min of demo. Sadly, it had too many boo-boos. When using zoom/magnifying glass, the picture fluctuated so much back and forth that it caused eye strain and slight headache. It was so annoying! We find a special gun to use on the glowing green residue left behind by the ghosts as they move from area to area. You have to find a new chamber for it after each use. Bad stuff: A lot was forgiven by gamers as they played the first two games, mostly because they had collectibles and a decent story. But those games came out in 2013 and 2015. Computer games have moved forward while the Devs of this game have stayed in 2013. Added to the frozen in time game play are the odd bits that I might overlook for collectibles and a couple of better puzzles and HOPs: I pick up three batteries from the ivy on a wall and they fit into the TWO battery area of a spotlight. Inside the grounds is a worker laying on the ground. We watch as he is attacked by a ghost. Good thing he was already laying down on the job or he might have even worse injuries! You find a piece of equipment missing a tuning fork. You play twice through a nearby HOP that has a tuning fork without getting the tuning fork - you later "shoot" it out of the top of a pole on the roof using a slingshot and a paper wad. There are more moments like that, but I'll let you have the "fun" of discovery. Far out ! what a great find. Interesting enough, I had the great pleasure to meet Ray, Robbie and John.  In 2008 I was working as a limo driver, I picked up Ray at S.F. airport and drove him to his home in Napa, CA.  We talked for 1.5 hrs. about his music/and the Doors music.  He and Robbie were reviving many of the Doors tunes, and occasionally John would join them.  Ray talked about Jim and his apparent death, music, poetry and his Shamanic Spiritual path.  In 1969 I met John and Robbie at a Meditation retreat in Squaw Valley (Lake Tahoe.   I play drums and percussion; and about 100 people jammed and danced at nights after our evening meetings.  John, Robbie and myself led the drumming for the dancers.  It was wild fun!  I had a most memorable time.

However, too much was left in (close-up shots that last eternity to evoke feelings) and much was left out at the expense of the sense of sight. What about the smells? The kitchen in the house was sterile, completely staged for the sake of aesthetics. The everyday life of 18th century France was missing: who brought in the meats, how did they go to the toilet? Yes, these simple fixes could have lent the film credibility, authenticity. Instead, the camera centered on the women's distraught faces for much too long, not convincing entirely that their love suddenly burst when earlier mere words were exchanged for long stretches. Do you really need the laborious detail of a man who hammers 4 nails in each corner of the canvas crate? Better choices could have been made with the use of time to keep the film under 2 hours and still convey an otherwise great subject to a film.

La flotacion

La primera acepción en el diccionario de la Real Academia Española sobre la palabra flotar dice:

"Dicho de un cuerpo: sostenerse en la superficie de un líquido".
Sin embargo, este concepto puede ser ampliado para su mejor comprensión a la hora de llevarlo a la práctica, especialmente en el aprendizaje de la natación, ya que es imprescindible el dominio de la flotación para conseguir una completa autonomía en el medio acuático, y confianza en si mismo.

Para comprender el concepto de flotación con un poco más de rigor, es necesario rcurrir a la ciencia de la física, con la que explicaremos algunos principios básicos, sin entrar en complejas descripciones de teorías o fórmulas.


Todas las personas flotan en mayor o menor medida, dependiendo de algunos factores, entre ellos los "flotadores" naturales de cada persona, como por ejemplo, la cantidad de grasa (tejido adiposo) y la capacidad de aire contenido en los pulmones al inspirar.

También el sexo y la edad son factores que intervienen en la flotación de una persona. Pero estos factores no son los únicos, la densidad del agua, el centro de gravedad corporal e incluso la presión atmosférica (en menor medida), influyen en la flotabilidad.

Muchas personas confunden el hecho de flotar con el poder mantener el equilibrio en el agua de forma estática.

Podemos decir que existen dos clases de flotación: flotación dinámica y flotación estática. La primera se produce durante el desplazamiento en el agua, es decir, mientras se nada, pero también es flotación dinámica cuando no existe desplazamiento y se aplican determinadas fuerzas, como por ejemplo, los waterpolistas con movimientos de piernas o las nadadoras de natación sincronizada. La flotación estática se produce cuando no existe movimiento alguno. En este artículo hablaremos de la flotación estática.

Antes de terminar con la introducción, consideramos importante señalar para aquellos que aún no saben nadar o se están iniciando, que la práctica de la flotación deberá estar controlada o supervisada para la seguridad de quien la realiza. Esto es aplicable tanto a personas adultas como a niños.

Factores que determinan la flotación:

La densidad del agua:
La densidad de un cuerpo está relacionada con su flotabilidad, una sustancia flotará sobre otra si su densidad es menor. Por eso la madera flota sobre el agua y el plomo se hunde en ella, porque el plomo posee mayor densidad que el agua mientras que la densidad de la madera es menor, pero ambas sustancias se hundirán en la gasolina, de densidad más baja.Esto quiere decir que para saber si una persona puede flotar en el medio acuático debemos saber cuál es la densidad del agua y cuál es la densidad de la persona. Estos dos parámetros puede variar dependiendo del tipo de agua y del somatotipo, edad, sexo, etc. de cada individuo. Sin embargo, existen valores medios con los cuales se puede afirmar que todos los humanos flotan en mayor o menor medida.

La densidad del agua dulce es de 1.000 Kg/m³ y la densidad media del cuerpo humano es de 950 Kg/m³. Por lo tanto un individuo puede flotar con facilidad sobre el agua.

La mayoría de las veces el agua no se encuentra en estado puro, es decir, H₂O únicamente, sino que contiene diversas sustancias en mayor o menor medida, por ejemplo: calcio, magnesio, sodio, cloro, sulfuro, potasio, etc. Dependiendo de esas sustancias y la cantidad de ellas disueltas o en suspensión, el agua será más o menos densa.

Un ejemplo muy claro es la diferencia de densidad del agua del mar con respecto al agua de un río. El agua del mar contiene, entre otros compuestos, sal disuelta (cloruro de sodio), lo que hace que sea más densa (1.027kg/m³ en la superficie) y por lo tanto mucho más fácil flotar en ella que en un río o en una piscina.
La salinidad del mar varía en diferentes regiones del planeta. En las desérticas hay más evaporación, y en consecuencia más salinidad que en los fríos polos norte y sur. El agua de los océanos tiene como media un total de 3,5% de sal, es decir, por cada 1.000 gramos (1Kg.) de agua, 3,5 gramos son sales; frente al 0,1% que tiene de media el agua de los ríos.

Otro factor que afecta a la densidad del agua es la temperatura, que se hace más densa a medida que desciende, es decir, cuanto más fría esté el agua, más densa es y como consecuencia de ello se flota mejor.

La densidad del cuerpo:
El Principio de Arquímedes establece que cuando un cuerpo está total o parcialmente sumergido en un líquido en reposo experimnta un empuje hacia arriba igual al peso del volumen del líquido desplazado. Por lo tanto si un cuerpo tiene una densidad relativa menor que 1, flotaá, ya que el peso del objeto es menor que el agua desplazada.
El cuerpo humano puede alterar su densidad en función de la cantidad de aire albergada en sus pulmones, permitiendo que el peso del volumen de agua desalojado aumente o disminuya en relación al peso del cuerpo en su conjunto. En inspiración, el peso específico del cuerpo humano suele ser menor que 1, por lo tanto el cuerpo flotará; mientras que en espiración el peso especifico suele ser mayor que 1, por lo tanto el cuerpo no flotará.

El equilibrio en flotación:

Para que un cuerpo quede en equilibrio estático, dichas fuerzas deberán de contrarrestarse, de lo contrario el cuerpo se hundirá o rotará hasta encontrar un equilibrio (figuras A de las imágenes 1 y 2).

El punto de aplicación de estas dos fuerzas sobre el cuerpo humano es distinto, debido al reparto no homogéneo de masas. En posición horizontal, generalmente, el punto de aplicación del centro de gravedad (CG) se sitúa más bajo que el punto de aplicación del centro de flotación (CF), (imagen 1).
Partiendo de esta base, podemos decir que se han de cumplir dos condiciones para que el cuerpo queda en equilibrio:

1. Que la resultante de las fuerzas aplicadas sea igual a cero (∑F = 0), es decir, que el Empuje sea igual al Peso (P=E), (figuras B de las imágenes 1 y 2). En este punto influye la densidad del agua y la densidad del cuerpo, parámetros de los que ya hemos hablado.
2. Que la resultante de los momentos de las fuerzas aplicadas sea también cero, es decir, que el empuje y el peso tengan la misma línea de aplicación (figuras B de las imágenes 1 y 2), de lo contrario la resultante no será nula, produciéndose un movimiento rotatorio (figuras A de las imágenes 1 y 2), hundiéndose la parte mas pesada, generalmente las piernas, hasta que el centro de gravedad y el centro de flotación se hallen en la vertical.

El centro de gravedad o centro de masa del cuerpo humano no es un punto fijo, sino que puede variar su posición de una persona a otra dependiendo de la constitución física, la edad y el sexo. Pero también varía en una persona cuando la disposición de los segmentos cambia, como al caminar, al correr, sentarse, o simplemente levantar los brazos en posición horizontal con respecto al suelo (imagen 3). Si la proyección del centro de gravedad cae dentro de la base de sustentación, se puede decir que el cuerpo está en equilibrio, por el contrario cuando el CG  afuera de ésta el cuerpo pierde el equilibro.
Lo mismo sucede en el medio acuático pero con la salvedad de que la base de sustentación (superficie de apoyo) no es el suelo sino el agua.

Ya hemos mencionado que la densidad media de un cuerpo humano es ligeramente inferior al a la densidad del agua, y por lo tanto la mayoría de personas flotan en el medio acuático.
Sin embargo, muchas veces ocurre que las extremidades inferiores tienden a permanecer en una posición determinada o tienden a adquirir la posición en donde la parte más densa queda hacia abajo (imagen 1, figura A). Esta situación sigue siendo un estado de flotación si se mantiene en la superficie o dentro del agua sin irse al fondo.
Para conseguir una flotación más horizontal podemos desplazar las extremidades superiores hacia arriba (imagen 1, figura B). Esto se debe a que la posición de equilibrio está determinada por la posición relativa del centro de gravedad o peso y del centro de flotación o empuje. Este cambio de posición de los segmentos corporales provoca un desplazamiento de la posición del centro de gravedad hasta que ambos puntos de aplicación se hallen en la vertical.

El sexo:
Como todos sabemos la grasa flota sobre el agua. Esto es fácilmente comprobable echando un poco de aceite en un vaso de agua.
La composición media corporal de las mujeres contiene un porcentaje mayor de agua y de tejido adiposo acumulado de manera natural en pechos y caderas con respecto a los hombres. Por esta razón, y siempre generalizando, las mujeres flotan con mayor facilidad que los hombres.
Por otro lado, en el cuerpo humano los únicos materiales que no flotan en el agua de forma aislada son los dientes, los huesos y los músculos. Esto se debe, como ya hemos explicado, a que su peso específico es superior a 1.
El peso medio de músculos y huesos de un hombre es superior al de las mujeres por lo que la tendencia de los hombres es flotar menos que las mujeres.

La edad:
la mayoría de los niños y los jóvenes tienen una mayor dificultad a la hora de flotar en posición horizontal. Esto es debido a la escasez relativa de tejido adiposo y el mayor peso de las piernas ocasionado por la musculatura.

La raza:
Se puede decir que en igualdad de edad y sexo, las personas de la raza negra tienen más masa ósea y mayor volumen muscular que las de la raza blanca o amarilla, motivo por el cual estas personas encuentran, de forma generalizada, una dificultad añadida para flotar sobre el agua.
Este hecho es curiosamente apreciado en las grandes competiciones de natación, en las que apenas participan nadadores de raza negra.

La presión atmosférica:
Las razones principales para la flotación consisten en que el cuerpo humano tiene su peso especifico superior al agua. Este peso específico varía con la cantidad de aire que se tenga en los pulmones y según el peso de cada persona. Si los músculos están relajados y respiramos normalmente, la flotación es posible.

El somatotipo:
Cada individuo tiene una constitución física singular que le hace diferente a los demás, la cual está determinada tanto por la genética como por el medio ambiente. Sin embargo, existen unas características físicas generales para clasificar estas diferencias. Dependiendo de estas características una persona puede flotar mejor que otra.

El somatotipo es un sistema utilizado en antropometría diseñado para clasificar el tipo corporal o físico. El somatotipo es utilizado para estimar la forma corporal y su composición, principalmente en atletas. Lo que se obtiene, es un análisis de tipo cuantitativo del físico. Este método tiene sus limitaciones, ya que solamente nos da una idea general del tipo de físico, sin ser preciso en cuanto a segmentos corporales y/o distribución de los tejidos de cada sujeto, además la mayoría de las personas son una mezcla entre dos de los somatotipos fundamentales. En términos generales, se observan tres somatotipos fundamentales o variedades del físico humano, mesoformo, ectomorfo y endomorfo.

• El mesomorfo es el biotipo más atlético, se caracteriza por poseer grandes masas musculoesqueléticas. Sus estructuras óseas son grandes y prominentes.
• Los individios ectomorfos son comunmente altos, delgados y con reducida grasa corporal. Poseen extremidades largas, tronco corto, poco desarrollo musculoesquelético y un metabolismo rápido.

Por lo tanto, se puede decir que una persona endomórfica, al poseer un mayor volumen de tejido adiposo flotará mejor que una persona mesomórfica o ectomórfica. Así mismo, una persona ectomórfica tendrá mayor dificultad para flotar ya que carece de grasa corporal y posee un mayor volumen óseo.

Accesorios de Natacion

Toalla o albornoz   a toalla, o en su defecto el albornoz, no debe faltar en la mochila de un nadador. Lo más apropiado es usar toallas de algodón 100%. Actualmente existen unas mini toallas, parecidas a las bayetas de cocina, que absorben con rapidez el agua de nuestro cuerpo. Son muy prácticas por su reducido tamaño. Gafas:   Las gafas tienen varias funciones, la más importante es evitar la irritación de los ojos producida por el cloro de las piscinas o la sal del mar, motivo por el cual su uso se hace muy recomendable para todas las edades. Obviamente el uso de gafas nos permitirá ver bajo el agua y controlar la dirección que deseamos. Si sueles practicar la natación al aire libre, te recomendamos que uses gafas con protección para los rayos UV procedentes del so. La oferta en el mercado es muy amplia. Existen de todos los colores, de todas las formas y de todos los tamaños. Existen gafas especiales para niños, para chicos, para chicas, de aficionado, de competición, de piscina, de mar, etc. En la actualidad la parte de la lente se fabrica de policarbonato, mientras que la goma que recubre la lente suele ser de silicona. Muchas marcas comerciales incorporan en sus gafas la etiqueta de "antifog", lo que quiere decir que están tratadas con un producto especial para que no se produzca vaho en su interior una vez puestas. Para conservar las gafas en un estado optimo el mayor tiempo posible, es recomendable eliminar cualquier residuo de cloro, aclarando simplemente con agua, sin detergentes y sobre todo sin secarlas o frotar la lente para evitar rayaduras. Un truco muy conocido, y bastante eficaz, contra el vaho en las gafas, es humedecer la parte interior de la lente con saliva y posteriormente enjuagar con agua. Esto formará una película protectora contra el vaho. Existen productos especiales, de las mismas marcas comerciales que las gafas, que hacen las funciones de la saliva como antivaho. Los nadadores que suelen entrenar varias horas seguidas en la piscina, suelen usar las gafas denominadas "suecas" (ver foto: parte inferior derecha). Por el contrario los nadadores de triatlón, que se enfrentan a ríos, el mar o a pantanos, prefieren otro tipo de gafas con una mayor protección y un campo visual mayor que las anteriores. Te aconsejamos que antes de comprarlas te las pruebes y verifiques su perfecta estanqueidad, ajustándose al contorno de tus ojos, sin que presionen demasiado y sin roces. También será aconsejable que las gafas tengan algún tipo de sistema ajustable de separación nasal. Las marcas comerciales pueden ser una referencia de calidad, sin embargo, no siempre las más caras son las mejores. Zapatillas:   Complemento indispensable para ir a la piscina, aunque esta idea no es compartida por todo el mundo. Sirve cualquier marca y modelo, siempre y cuando sean de materiales plásticos no porosos. Evitarás, en gran medida, el pie de atleta y otros hongos, sin embargo, el uso de chanclas no te asegura una higiene completa del pie. Se recomienda secar los pies, especialmente los espacios interdigitales a conciencia con una toalla seca. Calcetines de látex:   Son la medida más segura para prevenir infecciones como el famoso pie de atleta. Sin embargo, y a pesar de que algunos fabricantes aseguran que son antideslizantes, la gran variedad de suelos de las piscinas no siempre ofrecen esa garantía cuando están mojados. Otra desventaja de usar este tipo de calcetín es que, al estar fabricado en látex, no son demasiado resistentes y pueden durar poco. Tapones para los oídos:   Son muy útiles si tenemos algún problema con los oídos. Se suelen adaptar a la forma del oído para que el agua no entre en él, aunque deberás buscar los más apropiados a tus orejas. Existen multitud de tipos de tapones para usos muy distintos, que van desde la protección contra los ruidos, hasta los que evitan el agua en el oidor Con los primeros no obtendrás resultados en la piscina. Mucha gente, por desconocimiento o falta de información, usan dos clases de tapones poco recomendables para el baño: los de cera (bolas azules o rosas) y los de espuma. Los de cera se moldean bien pero se corre el riesgo de introducirlos demasiado en el oído con el consiguiente peligro; con los de espuma no se evita que entre agua, se mojan y se salen del oidor Además, con cualquiera de estos dos tapones es muy difícil lavarlos y eliminar posibles bacterias que provoquen una infección. i-Natación recomienda usar tapones de silicona o goma, homologados, con fórmula antialérgica y de venta exclusiva en comercios especializados. Este tipo de tapones son fáciles de poner y de lavar. Si tienes dudas al respecto pregunta a tu farmacéutico habitual. Pero a veces, no siempre damos con el tipo o modelo adecuado que se ajuste perfectamente a nuestro oidor En este caso puedes hacerte unos tapones a medida, a partir del molde de tu oidor Este tipo de tapones es algo más caro, pero sin duda son los más eficaces. IMPORTANTE: No uses tapones para los oídos no homologados, como por ejemplo algodones o de venta en comercios poco fiables. Este tipo de tapones improvisados o de mala calidad representan un grave peligro para la audición. Sigue las indicaciones para el uso de inserción correctos de los tapones Mantén limpios los tapones lavandolos con agua y jabón.

Bañador:

En la actualidad existen una oferta muy amplia de modelos y tejidos (polyester, elastán, lycra, pbt, nylon, poliamida, etc.) que se adaptarán según tu nivel o necesidades. En los últimos años han proliferado los bañadores elaborados con un determinado porcentaje de teflón y popularizados por los famosos fastskin (piel rápida) de la marca Speedo. Se trata del un material cuyas propiedades más significativas son la antiadherencia, el coeficiente de rozamiento más bajo conocido y gran resistencia al agua clorada. El teflón (politetrafluoretileno) tiene múltiples aplicaciones, una de las más conocidas es para sartenes pero también para revestimientos de aviones, prótesis, creación de tejidos artificiales y vasos sanguíneos, entre otras.

Pero para practicar la natación no es necesario usar bañadores de última generación, basta con uno simple que encontarás en cualquier tienda de deportes. Eso sí, lo mejor es evitar los colores demasiado claros como el blanco, que transparenta cuando está mojado. Es preferible colores oscuros.

• Para las chicas: cuando compres un bañador (una sola pieza) te asegurarás que tienes la máxima libertad de movimientos con tus brazos.
  No hace falta decir que con el bikini (dos piezas) podrías llevarte una sorpresa, sobre todo si te gusta lanzarte de cabeza al agua.
• Para los chicos: Hay algunos hombres que no se ven llevando uno de esos pequeños y ajustados bañadores de competición. Existen muchos modelos más o menos ajustados. Si te decides por uno grande de playa, de corte ancho, tendrás que trabajar un poco más a la hora de nadar pues estos bañadores recogen mucho agua. Intenta coserle los bolsillos.

Gorro:

Las funciones del gorro son varias:

• Mantiene el pelo fuera de sus ojos, nariz y boca, en el caso de tenerlo largo.
• Ofrece menos resistencia al avance a causa del pelo, deslizándonos mucho mejor a través del agua.
• Evita que tu pelo absorba demasiado cloro, con el consiguiente deterioro del cabello
• Como medida higiénica para otros usuarios y para el mantenimiento de la piscina (filtros, skimers, etc).

• Identificar a los miembro de un mismo equipo.

En el mercado existen tres opciones: de lycra o tela, de látex y los de silicona. Los de tela suelen estar más indicados para niños debido a que no tiran del pelo, pero su inconveniente es que se quitan muy rápido. Los de látex son baratos pero muy poco resistentes. Y los de silicona son mucho más gruesos, resistentes y duraderos, aunque algo más caros.

Sea cual sea tu elección intenta secarlo o aclararlo con agua sin cloro a conciencia cada vez que lo utilices para preservarlo del cloro. Además, para conservar mejor los gorros de látex y silicona, puede echarles polvos de talco.

Por razones higiénicas en la mayoría de piscinas es obligatorio, aunque no en todas, todo depende de la legislación regional en vigor.

Estilos de Natacion

 

Estilo Mariposa

La mariposa es el estilo más vistoso de la natación, el segundo más rápido y se caracteriza por un movimiento simétrico de los brazos y de las piernas. La historia de la mariposa se inicia con una variante de la braza, cuando un nadador empezó a llevar los brazos hasta los muslos para luego hacer un recobro aéreo, batiendo durante un tiempo todos los record de braza, hasta que se cambio la reglamentación.

En las pruebas internacionales se nadan las distancias de 50,100 y 200 metros, también se nada la mariposa como primer estilo en las pruebas de 100, 200 y 400 estilos, en los relevos la mariposa se nada en tercer lugar. Se puede decir que normalmente se respira hacia delante, pero algunos nadadores prefieren respirar hacia un lado, imitando al crol. En la versión no competitiva es un estilo que hay que trabajar con cuidado, ya que si no se tiene la musculatura abdominal bien desarrollada puede conllevar dolores de espalda. Los niños pueden iniciarse muy pronto en la mariposa, pero siempre en muy cortas distancias.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Estilo crol

 

 

En la natación de competición no tiene reglamentación ya que se considera estilo libre, y se nada en el programa internacional en las pruebas de 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 y 1500 metros. También se nadan las distancias de 5000, 10.000 y 25000 metros en las pruebas de larga distancia. El crol también es utilizado en las pruebas de triatlón y en el waterpolo. Tanto en las pruebas de estilos individual de 100,200 o 400 como en las pruebas de relevos de estilos 4*50 o 4*100 estilos, se nada en último lugar.

 

Lo que a diferencia del resto de los estilos, todos y cada uno de sus movimiento solo están sujetos a la búsqueda de la mayor propulsión posible, ya que no tiene limites en la reglamentacion. Cuando uno nada a crol, se desplaza ventralmente, realiza un movimiento alternado de los brazos, respira de forma lateral y tiene un movimiento alternado de las piernas. El crol también es la forma de nado más utilizada por su eficacia, velocidad y comodidad.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Estilo Esapalda

 

 

En el deporte de la natación la espalda es unos de los cuatro estilos oficiales, durante mucho tiempo se llamo y aun en muchos textos sigue denominándose así “crol despaldas” ya que es una adaptación para poder nadar crol despaldas, o viceversa.
Se caracteriza principalmente por estar despaldas y por un movimiento alternado de los brazos y también de las piernas (el movimiento de las piernas en espalda se llama batido de espalda o batido dorsal), así como por el peculiaridad movimiento de hombros que se realiza durante el nado.

 
En la especialidad deportiva de competición la espalda es el tercer estilo más rápido, muy cercano a la mariposa, que es el segundo, pero distante de la braza que es el cuarto. Se compite en el campeonato del mundo en las distancias de 50, 100 y 200 metros. También se nada en segundo lugar en las pruebas de 200 y 400 estilos y en primer lugar en las pruebas de relevos de estilos.

 

Estilo Braza

 

 

Es el estilo más lento, como la mariposa tiene un movimiento simétrico de las piernas y los brazos pero la normativa pone límites a su técnica. Es el estilo que mas cambios ha sufrido en los últimos años, así como el que más formas técnicas distintas tiene. En competiciones internacionales se nadan las distancias de 50, 100 y 200 braza, en las pruebas de estilo se nada en tercer lugar en las pruebas de 100,200 y 400 (el 100 estilos solo se hace en piscina corta de 25metros), el estilo braza también se nada en los relevos de 4*50 y 4*100 estilos y se nada en segundo lugar. Se puede decir que muchos bracistas nacen ya mas afines a este estilo sobre todo por su complicada patada muy diferente al resto de los estilos.

 Este estilo nadado en su variante no competitiva, es usado por muchas personas por su eficacia energética, en cambio en la variante de competición la braza tiene un consumo de energía superior a de otros estilos. La moderna patada de braza en personas no preparadas puede conllevar dolores de rodilla.

Natacion

La natación nació de la necesidad que el ser humano ha tenido de adaptarse al medio que le rodea, y uno de ellos es el acuático. Si tenemos en cuenta que la superficie del planeta está formada por tres cuartas partes de agua, podremos comprender la importancia y la necesidad del ser humano de adaptarse a este medio.

La natación es el arte de sostenerse y avanzar, usando los brazos y las piernas, sobre o bajo el agua. Puede realizarse como actividad lúdica o como deportede competición. Debido a que los seres humanos no nadan instintivamente, la natación es una habilidad que debe ser aprendida. A diferencia de otros animales terrestres que se dan impulso en el agua, en lo que constituye en esencia una forma de caminar, el ser humano ha tenido que desarrollar una serie de brazadas y movimientos corporales que le impulsan en el agua con potencia y velocidad. En estos movimientos y estilos se basa la evoluciónde la natación competitiva como deporte.

La natación puede practicarse en cualquier tipo de recinto de agua lo bastante grande como para permitir el libre movimiento y que no esté demasiado fría, caliente o turbulenta. Las corrientes y mareas pueden resultar peligrosas, pero también representan un desafío para demostrar la fuerza y el valor de los nadadores, como se puede comprobar con los muchos intentos con éxito de cruzar el canal de la Mancha.

La natación fue un deporte muy estimado en las antiguas civilizaciones de Grecia y Roma, sobre todo como método de entrenamiento para los guerreros. En Japón ya se celebraban competiciones en el siglo I a.C. No obstante, durante la edad media en Europa su práctica quedó casi olvidada, ya que la inmersión en agua se asociaba con las constantes enfermedades epidémicas de la época. Hacia el siglo XIX desapareció este prejuicio y, ya en el XX, la natación se ha llegado a considerar un sistemavalioso de terapia físicay la forma de ejercicio físico general más beneficiosa que existe. Ningún otro ejercicio utiliza tantos músculos del cuerpo y de modo tan intenso. Además, la mayor afluencia de nadadores, así como las mejores técnicas de construccióny calefacción, han aumentado enormemente el número de piscinas públicas al airelibre y cubiertas en todo el mundo. La piscina privada, que fue en un tiempo signo de excepcional privilegio, es cada vez más común.
